A Little About Us
Our "Tangle Free Flag Pole Holder" is the main product of Flyrite Corporation. The flag pole system mounts to your house and allows your flag to fly free in the wind without the trouble of getting tangled around the pole to which it is attached.
The "Flyrite Tangle Free Flag Pole Holder" was invented by Harold Vogt, President and Owner of Flyrite Corporation. His objective was to find a way to keep "Old Glory" flying free without wrapping itself around the pole.
After many hours, several proto-types, and help from family and friends, the "Flyrite Tangle Free Flag Pole Holder" evolved into a product ready for marketing.
This was only the beginning as we were soon to find out. Such things as packaging, brochures, instructions, part suppliers, patent searches, patents pending and advertising were only a few of the hurdles that had to be overcome to have a quality product ready to present to the public. It took some time, but we did it.
In 1988, Flyrite Corporation was formed and we were ready to offer our units for sale. At first, we started selling to family, friends, friends of friends, co workers, and eventually to some product catalogs, some of which have continually been with us since 1990 and are still enjoying successful sales to this day.
Over the years, several changes have occurred. Along with our standard 45 degree tangle free holder, we now offer a 15 degree tangle free banner holder and a vertical 90 degree tangle free flag pole holder. We have opened a showroom in our shop for walk in sales of USA flags of all sizes, flags for a number of different countries, some sports flags, and various seasonal flags. We also carry and install "In Ground" Residential and Commercial flagpoles.
We have several local flag related stores that sell our "Tangle Free" flagpole holders, as well as flag dealers in other areas of the country.
Flyrite Corporation is the inventor and the "only" manufacturer of the "Original Tangle Free Flag Pole Holder" in the world. Our units are made in the USA, in Germantown, Wisconsin. We are family owned and operated and absolutely proud to stand behind our product. We have enjoyed sharing our patriotism along with that of thousands of others throughout the country and hope to do so for many years to come.
